Dean Puliafito to throw the first pitch“Partnering with the Los Angeles Dodgers is a strategic move to align the Keck Hospital of USC brand with another iconic brand in Los Angeles,” said hospital CEO Mitch Creem. “We look forward to bringing Dodgers fans timely health information through in-stadium promotions and educational opportunities. This partnership with the Dodgers also will allow us to expand our community outreach through many activities that will be fun and educational for our patients, their families and our employees and friends.”

Dean Puliafito to throw the first pitchOver the course of the season, Keck Hospital of USC doctors, nurses and staff have opportunity to participate in special Dodger-related events, batting practice, and ticket giveaways. In addition, the partnership features homeplate signage during all local regular-season television broadcasts on PrimeTicket and KCAL, permanent Pavilion Wall signage during all regular-season games and sponsorship of the Dodgers’ “Heart of Dodgertown” platform, which highlights various community programs throughout the season on Dodgervision.

As part of the “Heart of Dodgertown” platform, current and former players will visit patients at Keck Hospital of USC. The visits are featured in the Dodgers Video on Demand content on Time Warner Cable.

The team also showcases the hospital at Dodger Stadium with extensive promotional opportunities throughout the baseball season, including:

  • four auto gate distributions of Keck Hospital of USC marketing material to more than 10,000 cars per game
  • in-stadium concourse booths during select Dodgers home games that facilitate interaction between Dodgers fans and hospital physicians and staff members
  • full-page ads in Dodgers Magazine sold at each game and available to all premium seating clients.

The Dodgers also provide Keck Hospital of USC with radio spots on KHJ 930AM, one of the top-rated Spanish-language radio stations in the Los Angeles market and the home of the Dodgers’ Spanish-language broadcasts.

In addition, the partnership will include a fireworks night presented by the hospital on Sept. 18. On that date, hospital representatives will be featured in a pre-game first pitch ceremony at Dodger Stadium.
